Filled with caramel, lollipops and jellies, the decor at the Stuttafords, Sandton City launch was delicious… but this was a perfume launch? A very delectable way for L’Oreal luxury to introduce the Viktor&Rolf new fragrance – BonBon.

The packaging: The Bow: “The spirit of couture”
This sweet, exciting and delicious fragrance was introduced as a scent that defied all boundaries by their creators, designers Viktor&Rolf, who used their creative genius from conception of the scent until the execution of the bow. In keeping with their original focus -fashion- the “bow” was used as the design of the perfume bottle, as in the past, bows were reserved for the “well off” symbolizing wealth. “The bow forms an iconic design symbol in the house’s rich heritage and embodies the essence of the couture spirit … Wearing a bow represents a personal, decorative experience while unwrapping one signifies a celebratory occasion,” Viktor&Rolf.
Bonbon’s precious glass bottle took one year of work, and is wrapped in a luxurious, raspberry-toned box imprinted with the scent’s black bow and Viktor&Rolf’s signature seal.

Gaïc and cedar woods blend into the base note to achieve a surprising balance between smooth, creamy, milky sandalwood notes
